Counter slides for pipe bending machines
Among the components for tube benders, the counter slide is configured as an additional element, which can be used with thin-walled tubes, medium bending radius or in the presence of wrinkles.
The counter slides are also called “anti-wrinkle pads” or “smoothing pads” and can be integral or with interchangeable inserts. It must be assembled in the direction of the matrix to make the entire tool uniform.
The purpose of its installation is to eliminate any wrinkles present within the curvature area.
